2019 World Junior Snooker Championships
The 2019 IBSF World U/18 and U/21 Snooker Championships kick off from the 4th - 13th July in Qingdao, China. We have 3 Aussies that were selected to represent Australia at this years Championship. The ABSC wishes the following players all the best in this event as they are the life blood of this sport:
Marc Fridman (Victoria)
Josh Burns (Tasmania)
Teah Raeburn (Victoria)
Earlier in the week we asked Marc what he thought about being given the privilege to represent his country.
Marc Fridman says ;
"Attending the World Championship will not only help me with my aspiring goals to become a professional Snooker player as I'll be playing the top snooker players from throughout the world , challenging them and learning from them, and hopefully have a win
Attending the championships will also help me become wider known throughout the snooker community where I'll be able to meet new people and make new friends who will not only help me grow in snooker but also grow as a more confident person. At the championships there will also be world professional snooker coaches who I'll be able to get help from to improve my skills and who will teach me things I can take back home and practice and work on and can pass the things I have been shown to other aspiring snooker players. I will assist at the 2019 Victorian U18 and Australian U18 titles with this knowledge and help grow this sport .
I see the pleasure my dad gets from helping the juniors and want to be part of that in the future."
Good luck and go team Australia. To follow the progress of the juniors go to www.ibsf.info
