Junior Development

The Australian Billiards and Snooker Council (ABSC) has been given approval by the WPBSA to roll out the 'White to Black' Development program. This is now an official ABSC approved development program and all coaching instructors that participate will need to have achieved competency in the ABSC Level 1 Coaching Accreditation Scheme as well as undergoing Working With Children, State Police Checks and ASADA Level 1 & 2 Anti Doping Courses.

Our aim is to provide a safe, inclusive learning environment via a structured systematic coaching programme to students of the game of snooker to various levels of competence in line with their ability.

It is recommended that students begin at the introductory 'white' level and progress to the more advanced 'black' level where possible.

It is hoped that in the very near future this development will lead to consistent junior snooker & billiard events with the opportunity to provide our students with pathways to State, National and International competition.

If you are interested in participating in this program, whether as a student, coach, sponsor or media please do not hesitate to get in touch with our National Junior Development Officer. You can do this by completing the form below. Online resources for the ‘White to Black’ Development program are also available on this page.
