Notice of General Meeting (May 2026)

The ABSC is calling a General Meeting of members on 17 June 2026 at 7.30pm AEST.  The only business of the meeting is to discuss and vote on a Special Resolution to adopt proposed changes to the ABSC Constitution as outlined in the attached Notice of Meeting, Agenda and Briefing Note and Draft Constitution.

The ABSC Board acknowledges that these changes have been mandated by the Australian Sports Commission and that they are important to ensure that the ABSC retains its NSO status and responds to the changing governance standards now required of all sporting organisations. They represent a significant shift in the way the ABSC and the sport are administered, and are likely to require further amendment in the future to respond to implementation issues as they arise.

Members wishing to attend the meeting should email secretary@absc.com.au by 10 June and a meeting link will be sent.  Any queries about the proposed changes should also be sent to this email.
