Referee Development - State Directors

One of the focus areas for the ABSC is the development of Referees. The ABSC Referee Sub-Committee is committed to drive consistency in this space through the implementation of processes and frameworks that will create a sustainable future for Referees for Billiards and Snooker in Australia. 

Frank Dewens is currently undertaking the role of Convenor for The Referee Sub-Committee in the absence of Kim Ivett as she undertakes significant work commitments. The Sub-Committee is currently in the process of selecting two Class 1 Referee Examiners to join the Committee. 

One of the objectives of the Referee Sub-Committee is to ensure consistency across our State Affiliates, which is why we have developed a standardised job description for the role of State Director of Referees (DOR). The DOR job description can be downloaded at the following link.
