Cancellation of Bob Hawke AC Memorial Australian Open Snooker and WWS Australian Women’s Open Snooker

The ABSC is disappointed to announce that due to National and International travel restrictions and other Covid-19 limitations it will not be possible to run any further national tournaments in 2020.

The 2020 Bob Hawke AC Memorial Australian Open and the WWS Australian Women’s Open Snooker, which were both scheduled to be played at Mounties in October will therefore not go ahead.

Nevertheless, the ABSC is encouraged and delighted by the ongoing support for these tournaments that is being shown by Mounties and the WWS in these difficult times.  We look forward to these events returning bigger and better than ever in 2021, as part of a full season of National, Asia-Pacific and Ranking tournaments.”
