Expressions of Interest - World Billiards Championship

The ABSC is calling for expressions of interest from players who wish to compete in the 2019 World Billiards Championship to be held at the RACV Club in Melbourne from October 6th to 12th. Selection will be based partially on Australian ranking, and partially on past performances in major events. Women and Juniors are more than welcome to express their interest.

The ABSC reserves the right to determine who will be selected and no debate will be entered into. The closing date for expressions of interest is August 4th. Players expressing their interest should note these requirements:

* You must be prepared to pay the scheduled entry fee (approximately $160 AUD for the World Championship and $80 AUD for the World Open);
* Unless you are commuting from home in Victoria daily, you will be required to stay at the RACV club, paying the specially negotiated room rate;
* Players representing Australia must adhere to the ABSC code of conduct.

Players who are not selected will have the opportunity to compete in one or more qualifying tournaments to earn a place in the Championship - more details to be advised.
