ABSC Organisation and Sub-Committee Structure

The Australian Billiards and Snooker Council (ABSC) organisation is comprised of a small number of people across Australia with each State having board member representation. To function effectively the ABSC is required to have a sub-committee structure as outlined in the diagram below. Sub-Committees are an opportunity for people in our community to contribute their time and expertise in an area of interest to them.

The structure in the diagram below shows 9 sub-committees with leads and membership which may change over time. If you are passionate about a particular area and think you can contribute to the growth of our sport, please contact the relevant lead as outline below. If you have any specific questions or suggestions around the structure itself, please email secretary@absc.com.au

Engagement of Services

The ABSC Board at times calls upon specialist expertise to deliver a range of capabilities that the ABSC requires for its regular operations.  These specific skills may attract service fee payments which are generally dispersed in arrears and based on service outcomes being met.

The following are current roles engaged by the ABSC:

1. IT Manager

2. Website and Media Officer

Roles and services fees are reviewed annually by the ABSC Board and the roles will be reflected accordingly on this page.
