Farebrother Scores Four In A Row
14 Feb 2003

In a rare event in Australian Snooker, Roger Farebrother has made four century breaks in the North Sydney Leagues Club Championships in consecutive frames throughout the tournament.

Farebrother made 101, 116, and 130 in the last three frames of the semi final, then returned a week later to make 127 in the first frame of the final.

Steve Mifsud scored three centuries in similar circumstances in the Blacktown Workers Club Pro-Am in August 2002 - two centuries to finish one match, then another century in the first frame of the next match. There are no records of an Australian player achieving four centuries in a row in tournament play. However, we stand to be corrected - if you know of any player who has equalled or bettered this feat, please let us know!
